Earlier “Transaero” in Novosibirsk

On the 6th of January 2004 “Transaero” airlines Boeing-767-300 landed in “Tolmachevo” airport. It was trial flight of such type aircraft in Novosibirsk. Earlier “Transaero” operated regular schedule flights on Boeing-737.

The possibility of Boeing-767-300 servicing is a consequence of airport qualification increase. As it’s known, in 2003 airport “Tolmachevo” took out State Service of Civil Aviation license to serve aircraft of such type.

Airport administration hopes that “Transaero” airlines will increase the number of operating flights, including connecting flights on the routes: Europe – Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk – South- East Asia.

Airport and airlines administrations discuss the question of setting up such type aircraft base in “Tolmachevo” airport to operate regular shuttle flights and complete charter programs.

Getting more comfortable foreign manufactured aircraft undoubtedly will increase “Tolmachevo” airport attraction for the passengers.
